If we try to count beautiful gifts of nature, I bet no one of us will be able to count. We are blessed with beautiful landscapes, rivers, mountains, lakes, waterfalls and some breathtaking weather phenomenons. In today’s post, we’ll visit some stunning waterfalls.
What is a waterfall:
A waterfall occurs when flow of water travels downward because of interrupted path of a river or when an iceberg starts melting on its top. As 70% of earth is covered with water so there are thousands of waterfalls in the world.

Horsetail Fall:

Number one in the list is Horsetail Fall that is located in Yosemite National Park in California, USA. Once again I bet, after seeing Horsetail Falls image in this post, instead of water you’ll think of fire falling from a mountain but its water, not fire. To witness this amazing orange waterfall, you must visit Yosemite National Park in February when the reflection of sunlight from a specific angle converts the water’s color into bright orange. It is really very amazing place to visit once in lifetime to see the wonders of Nature.
Sunwapta Falls:

It is a combination of two beautiful waterfalls of the Sunwapta River. It is located in Jasper National Park, Canada. These falls start from Athabasca Glacier and have a drop of about 18.5 meters. This waterfall was created by hanging valleys. Sunwapta Falls offers a very beautiful and stunning sight to its visitors in winter when it is completely frozen.
Vinnufossen:

Vinnufossen is located in the village of Sunndalsora, Møre og Romsdal county of Norway. With a drop of 2,840 feet, it is recorded as the tallest waterfall of the Europe and the sixth tallest in the world. It originates from Vinnu Glacier.
Sutherland Falls:

It is the second tallest waterfall of New Zealand with a drop of 580 meters. It is located in South Island of New Zealand. It is divided in three steps. These three steps stands at the height of 815 feet, 751 feet and 338 feet. It is one of the most famous tourist’s attraction in New Zealand.
