Ways To Get Back On Your Feet After A Breakup

You are the most precious gift that has been sent to the Earth. Irrespective of the depth of love for your beloved, on no account should you negotiate with your true personality, as you will loose out on being who you really are. Breaking the bonds of love means a pounding heartache and ‘crying a River’. Nonetheless, you should give ample time to yourself to completely heal before you embark on a new journey. Remember, getting into a new relationship will not help you heal your broken wings, first allow the new wings to emerge and then take on the flight.

How to deal with break up
Whether you are a man or a woman, the heartache is same. To deal with your sorrow you can indulge in hobbies or activities that delight you the most. If you love to binge, get yourself a decent mug of hot chocolate, or perhaps those scrumptious pastries. You can even pick on a new hobby like martial arts.
You know that awful feeling in the pit of your stomach when you know for sure that it’s all over. Your loved-one walks off into the sunset and you’re left to pick up the pieces of your life and start again. Sometimes it comes as a relief (especially if you are the one who ended the relationship) and other times it comes as the worst heart-break you could ever imagine.
So how do you bounce back from losing someone who has been so central to your life?
Give Yourself Time to Grieve
Even if you were the one to initiate the split, you’re likely to feel a great big hole in your life now and plenty of loss. You might need time to be on your own to work out what happened more clearly. You might need time to work through your anger and hurt or just to work out what you’re really feeling.
Coping with Rejection
The sad fact about life is that no one can get through it, without being rejected at some time. We have to face this and carry on knowing that ultimately we will survive, having learnt something from the experience. Remember that several factors need to be compatible for a relationship to work and that loving each other may not always be enough.
Get Your Social Life Back to Get Back in the Game
Make contact with friends you’ve lost touch with. You might wish to re-visit some old activities that brought friendships to you before, such as rambling, joining yoga, a dance class or a film club. None of this is easy. But remember that all of your friends were once complete strangers and if you’ve made friends and made your life complete before, you can do it again.
